Samsung’s Star 3 Duos takes over from the Star II and sports the ability to run on 2 Sim cards simultaneously. We list out its top 5 features.

1.Screen: The Star 3 Duos comes with a capacitive 3-inch QVGA LCD screen with a resolution of 240x320 pixels. This resolution has in fact been revamped from its predecessor’s resolution of 240x400 pixels.

2.Size: The device weighs 95gm and sports dimensions of 102x58x11.5mm, fairing well against its competitors in the same category. The phone is sturdy, easy to hold and slip into a pocket.

3.Interface: Samsung’s new offering runs on the company’s proprietary OS, the TouchWiz Lite user interface. An easy to use system, it gives users convenient ways to stay in touch and remain entertained. The phone also comes pre-installed with the Samsung ChatON social networking service.

4.Entertainment: The Star 3 Duos sports a 3.2MP camera with a fixed focus and QCIF video capture capabilities. The phone also includes a FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. Content sharing and internet surfing options are many on the phone since it works on EDGE, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

5.Storage: The smartphone includes a RAM of 20MB, which is at par with what can be expected from a phone in its class. Users don’t need to worry about the phone’s memory at all though, since it is expandable up to 16GB with a MicroSD card.

Of course, the best feature of this handset is its dual-Sim capability. According to Esato, after launching in Russia at the end of the month, the Star 3 Duos will be arriving in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia soon after.
