Samsung recently launched three new 3G handsets, Samsung Champ, Samsung Chat 527 and Samsung Primo. Samsung Primo is a budget phone but is no less powerful than any other smartphone.
Design: Samsung Primo is a bar phone. It has 2.4-inch TFT display. It is available in silver grey colour. Its metallic body gives its sturdy look. Otherwise, the phone is really handy and seems to be lightweight. But much information is not available about its battery backup, operating system and standby talk time.
Camera: It has dual cameras in it. One is the 5-megapixel-rear camera with LED flash, auto focus and video recording feature and second is the front facing VGA camera. Front facing camera is good for video chatting.
Technology: This is a 3G-enabled handset and it works on Quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 Mhz operating frequency. Another good feature of this handset is that it is GPS enabled as well.
Connectivity: This handset is good in using the Wi-Fi-connectivity and it supports the EDGE network as well. It is equipped with Bluetooth 3.0 and it has USB port as well. It has speaker in it but you can connect your headset as well.
Entertainment: From entertainment perspective this is a wonderful phone as it has FM Radio, music player, games and wonderful ringtones. This handset comes with pre-loaded apps like Facebook and Twitter.
Other features: This phone is good for messaging as it has a finger friendly keypad. You can send MMS as well through this handset. However it doesn’t have push mail feature.
