Neither Rahul nor Modi fit for PM’s post: Kejriwal
Bangalore: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday launched a frontal attack on Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, saying none of the two leaders are fit for the Prime Minister’s post.
Kejriwal, who launched his party here today, said the people of the country are upset with both the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
“People are upset with both the parties. I don’t think these two (Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi) can provide a good future,” he said.
Kejriwal said a stage has now come where the people have lost faith in almost all the political parties and that is why there is coalition.
“I think there is a serious leadership crisis in this country. There is no strong and credible leader on the horizon, which is why the coalitions exist,” he said.
RBI Chief Raghuram Rajan stated that more economic data is needed to be confident that economic growth is picking up, although he added that the benefits to exports from the Rupee's fall is yet to kick in.
