IIM-A to train HAL senior executives

Participants will get international exposure besides being taught on subjects like business environment and innovation

Ahmedabad: Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has roped in Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) to train its senior executives under the Leadership Development Programme.

HAL, under the management of the Ministry of Defence, and one of Asia’s largest aerospace company, has undertaken this initiative acknowledging the changing business environment and challenges.

“Considering the changing business environment at the national and international levels, we need to develop leadership in different fields of our activity,” HAL Chairman Dr R.K. Tyagi said in a statement.

Under the comprehensive one-year programme, 30 senior executives of HAL will be groomed by the professors of one of the premier business institutions of the country.
