Congress MP says "such an ideology cannot be beneficial to the country - it can again trigger tension in future"

JAMMU: Asserting that honouring the assassins cannot benefit the country, Congress MP Dr Karan Singh has said "such ideology" can trigger tension in future.
"Such an ideology cannot be beneficial to the country - it can again trigger tension in future", Dr Singh told reporters on the sidelines of the programme "Unity and Diversity" organised by Rama Krishna Mission on the 150th year of Swami Vivekananda here on Tuesday.
He was replying to volley of question about the honouring the kin of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's assassins by the head of Sikh community's highest temporal seat the Akal Takht. "It is sad and condemnable-- Indira's killers honouring and the way she was killed is unfortunate', he said.
