Gilani, Kayani meet Zardari before he flies to India
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani met President Asif Ali Zardari just hours before he flew out to India. They discussed issues that were outstanding with New Delhi, a media report said Sunday.
Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar also participated in the meeting that took place at the Governor's House in Lahore Saturday evening.
It is believed that issues outstanding with India were discussed, Dawn reported.
In the first presidential visit from Pakistan in the last seven years, Zardari, accompanied by an over 40-member delegation, will fly to New Delhi Sunday morning.
