Fasting Chandrababu Naidu shifted to hospital
New Delhi: The Delhi police on Friday shifted Telugu Desam Party (TDP) head N Chandrababu Naidu, who was fasting at the Andhra Bhavan premises here, to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
Earlier, chaos prevailed in the area as supporters of Naidu protested against their leader being asked by the police to move out of Andhra Bhavan, where he was fasting in protest against bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The TDP head ready to move out, but his supporters were not allowing him to leave the premises.
Following a dreadful washout in the four-State Assembly polls, a humbled Congress accepted its defeat and called for a much needed introspection to rethink their strategy ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
