New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party has urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to introspect and decide what should be done on his part to restore the faith of people in the entire political establishment.

Party veteran L.K. Advani had demanded on Friday that the resignation of the Law Minister was not enough. He said the PM should also resign after the observations against the Centre by the Supreme Court on the affidavit based on the probe report into coal scam.

The party president, Rajnath Singh, interestingly, did not demand the PM's resignation but appealed to the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samajwadi Party that if they are seriously concerned about the deterioration of system and grievances of the people, they should withdraw support from the UPA.
