"Madhu Koda and Kamlesh Singh have been arrested for possessing assets disproportionate to their known sources of income. We had procured their arrest warrant from the concerned court," M.V. Rao, inspector general of police of the vigilance bureau, told IANS.
The two were later presented before a vigilance court. The judge, V. Khan, remanded Koda to 14 days judicial remand.
Koda was arrested from his house in Chaibasa around 11 a.m. by district Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Jha. He was brought to Ranchi under heavy security arrangements, Rao said.
We still feel that Koda, is only a puppet put at the front! There are bigger players - highest ranking policy makers / industrialists in Delhi. Koda has been arrested for supressing the facts. What about arresting ther absconders? Arrest them - everything will be known.
These people loot the tribals all their benefits allocated by the Governments - evicting them from their home land and loot the rich minerals in the region.
Govt. should put that Koda behind bars and ask his wife
to produce that dimonf studed watch and earings to the
right govt. emplyees oncerned. Journalists should also
act according at least as per the law of the land.

Koda is trapped because he is Independent without any Party behind him.
Make no mistake! He will be eventually released Scott-Free as other politicians were released earlier, as he did not steal alone. There are other Scamsters of established political parties as well. It was a 'Milla-Julla' Sarkar!

To all the investigating agencies of India, my sincere request, please stop such dramabaaji as we have seen many cases and how they got scot free with the blessings of Politicians and lame duck law enforcing authorities.
Why you arrest such big fish and waste money of middle class employees money ?
Pl. arrest some chota mota gunda or find some small fish involved in some chota mota case or bribery case and pass the news to media and get promotions in your job profile. Whats there in arresting Kodas, sukhrams, Butas, Rajus, Lalus and Mayawatis ?

I pray to God that somehow, someway responsible honest men of integrity pursue this case to its conclusion , and Madhu Koda and his gang of bandits are sent to DEATH OR LIFE IMPRISONMENT. I think the Finance Minister and the PM should personally lead this investigation.
Why should economic terror be treated differently as against other forms of violent terror.The same vigor that is seen in Ajmal Kasab's and 26/11 investigations should be displayed here too. It is mindboggling that this man and his bunch of thugs have looted Jharkhand state and its poverty stricken people of 4000 Crores !!. I can only make a wild guess that 4000 crores is probably 15-20% of the entire State's GDP in one year.No wonder the Maoists find so much support among the local populace.So long as there are leaders like this as heads of state , any victory that the security forces get against the Maoists will be hard earned and short term !!
This would be a true litmus test of the UPA's claims of being pro poor and an honest government and mark a clean and welcome break from their pathetic track record of letting off crooks and allies in positions of power.
The media and us citizens also have a big role to play in keeping up the moral pressure.
