A relative who had gone to meet the family Friday morning found no response when she knocked on the door. She then called the police, senior police inspector Vilas Shinde said.
The police broke open the door of the flat in Jalaram Park society of Sonapur area, to find the four bodies lying there.
The man has been identified as businessman Dinesh Jain and the others as his wife, daughter and son.
"So far, we do not know the motive behind the killings and the suicide, our investigations are on," Shinde said.

Belief in the Books (kutub) sent by God[1] (including the Qurʾān).
Belief in the Day of Judgment (qiyama) and in the Resurrection (life after death).
Belief in Destiny (Fate) (qadar).
