"The House will witness what my MLAs will do if anyone dares take oath in other language," Raj told reporters. MNS has 13 MLAs in the 288-member House.
"In Karnataka, a Marathi-speaking MLA was expelled from the House as he could not speak in Kannada. Will our legislators show the same attitude about Marathi," Raj said.
Raj's statement follows his recent warning to Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Asim Azmi who had demanded the House agenda in Hindi.
"Hindi is our national language and it should come after Marathi," Azmi, elected from Mankhurd and Bhiwandi seats, had said in his letter to Assembly secretary.

What kind of language that Thakeray is using? Does any State have 100% people speaking the same language? There are Telugu speaking people in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Marathi speaking in Karnataka, Delhi has Punjabi population and so on. Maharashtra, especially Mumbai has been a cosmopolitan place for ages and people from all regions of the country and the world have visited it. They were welcome when they were necessary for its development. Now with the economic downfall, unemployment and poverty, they "outsiders" are burden. The ruling elite has no solution to offer and divide the people and make them fight among themselves. And we fall for the trick. How would MNS like it if the foreign business and industry retreats with their capital? Doesn't MSN have MP's in Delhi? How will they react if they were threatened to speak in Hindi even if they can't?

people from north come here , stay here for years and do not speak our language.
