''Art of Living'' celebrates Diwali by lighting 20,000 candles
Ahmedabad, Nov 13 (PTI) The ''Art of Living'' Foundation today celebrated Diwali in a unique manner where a large number of followers lit up over 20,000 candles.
The followers of Sri Sri Ravishankar attempted to create a world record for most number of candles lit at a time at a place, as everyone who attended the spiritual discourse lit up candles for 30 seconds.
Earlier, the spiritual guru performed a special ritual to mark ''Laxmi Pujan'' which was attended by a large number of his followers at Sardar Patel Stadium here.
''Deepotsav 2012'' was the culmination of the eight-day-long spiritual discourses held at different districts like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Anand, Bharuch and Sabarkantha.
Earlier in the day Ravi Shankar met Chief Minister Narendra Modi at his residence.
