Air India flight develops snag, passengers safe
Guwahati: At least 48 passengers on board an Air India plane had a close shave Sunday morning after the aircraft developed a technical snag mid-air after take off from the Silchar airport, over 350 km from here.

The pilots, after noticing the problem, decided to make an emergency landing at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport here.
Officials of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) at Guwahati said the emergency landing was successful and all the passengers were safe.
