Air India to restart Boeing 787 services from tomorrow
New Delhi: Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ajit Singh today said that Air India has reported a profit of Rs 19.85 crore in 2012-13.
The Minister said that Boeing 787 in fleet will restart operations from May 15 with first flight from Delhi to Kolkata. The first international flight with Boeing 787 will restart from May 22.
He said that Air India will own 14 Boeing 787 by the end of December. The airline plans to start Delhi-Birmingham, Delhi-Sydney-Melborune in August and Delhi-Moscow services from early 2014.
Ajit Singh said that Pawan Hans Helicopter Ltd has reported a profit of Rs 7.7 crore against a loss of Rs 10 crore previously.
