7 injured as part of monorail bridge collapses
Mumbai: At least seven persons were injured as a part of monorail bridge collapsed in Wadala area in central Mumbai tonight.
The portion of the bridge along Barkat Ali Road in Shanti Nagar collapsed, Fire Brigade sources said, adding that at least seven persons were injured and were admitted to nearby Sion and KEM Hospitals.
The monorail transit system is currently under construction in central Mumbai.
Some vehicles under the bridge were damaged.
