Two Americans win 2012 Nobel Prize in Economics
Stockholm: Americans Alvin E. Roth and Lloyd S. Shapley were on Monday named for the 2012 Nobel Prize in Economics for their "theory of stable allocations and the practice of market design".

Staffan Normark, permanent secretary of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm, made the announcement in this regard, Xinhua reported.
The Nobel Prize in Economics, established in 1968, is officially called the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.
