With his approval ratings down from once-lofty levels and Tuesday's Democratic election losses raising questions about his political clout, Obama held no special ceremony to mark the anniversary of his election as America's first black president.
He instead traveled to Wisconsin to appear before a friendly audience in a school gymnasium and promote education as a pillar of his economic recovery efforts.
Promise of sweeping change
Obama was elected on a promise of sweeping change after eight years under Bush, but many Americans are increasingly expressing impatience that his pledge has yet to bear fruit.
He used the preamble of his speech to insist his administration had indeed had important successes and also to remind Americans of the litany of daunting challenges he inherited when he took office in January.

Nothing happens overnight, Europeans who blame Mr. Bush today, were responsible for two world wars that brougt so much disaster to whole world and the current world economic order. Einstein once said ' In the middle of difficulty lie opportunity,' Americans should mend their lavish lifestyles, habit of over spending, learn simple lessons from ants. These tiny creatures work hard and save for the rainy season. Americans mind their own business, stop policing the world, ( Why they should ? ) solve their own problems. Stop the habit of finding a scapegoat for their problems.

It is interesting to see the congress blaming Obama for introducing the Universal Health Care which is a sane way of helping the populace instead of allowing them have wild experiences at the Hospitals and Doctors before they could qualify for treatment at a particular place of medical help. Doctors and Insurance Companies are hand in hand, monies are given the Doctors which remains at very high unreasonable levels, Doctors forgetting their noble profession requires compassion and understanding and humility to serve the suffering, thus forgetting human values, resulting in patients dragged from one hospital door to the other for want of acceptance and treatment due poor insurance or no insurance.
They openly without shame oppose and do cat calls, and would like to overlap the mistakes and billions of dollars given to the business by the former Bush administration, money vanishing, and Bush basking in his Texas ranch without any concern.
The behaviour of the senators and representatives stinks and every educated self is ashamed to have such representatives who forget the needy in the constituency and will not wholeheartedly support the benign effort to have equal access for medical care be it a poor American or a rich American.
Playing nefarious politics a good president cannot be dumped. Time will tell and the Divinity will decide. If the world has to have decency and controlled free enterprise instead of purging and looting the wealth of the nation keeping the ordinary under the heels and suffering these politicians should wake up and become selfless. There selfishness should be crucified and benign thoughts and actions should flow so that The great America of the yester years returns soon for the joy of the dreaming millions of young souls who hold America as a precious land of opportunities, but today a artificially trashed nation with crooks and bandits participating in the law making of the land to the despire of many with tears all over the world.
Obama is in the prayers of many souls across the world. The blessings which he has will topple any useless and connving politician and trash him to oblivion.
Put in controls in financial institutions and do not allow freak plans of the crook fructify and in the process innocent populace get looted. Let not the Police be asked to keep the general populace in shackles and that instead look after them as angels from the universe.
