Uttarakhand tragedy revisited: Photos

A tragedy of epic proportions unfolded in Uttarakhand in June 2013 as cloudburst struck triggering floods and landslides leading to large-scale devastation. Flash floods wreaked havoc in the hill districts of Rudraprayag, Urttarakashi, Chamoli and Pittoragrh, leading to the death of over 600 people as per official figures, and leaving more than 4,000 missing.
