Charles Sobhraj (Indian)
Charles Sobhraj was known for a string of killings in Vietnam in the 1970s. Born to an Indian father and Vietnamese mother, he spent most of his childhood in Saigon. He befriended mostly western tourists in Asia, later drugging and killing them. Between 1972 and 1976, Sobhraj is said to have killed 12 to 24 people. After several jail breaks, he became known as ‘The Serpent’. He was caught and imprisoned in 2004. He was also called a ‘the Bikini killer’ for his skills at deception and evasion.
Umesh Reddy (Indian)
Psycopath killer Umesh Reddy raped, murdered and robbed women across Karnataka. A former police constable, Reddy became the reason for women to run for their lives in the late 90s. He used to attack houses where women stayed alone. He would hold the victims at knife point, tie their hands, rape them, kill them and then rob the houses. Reddy had escaped six times from police custody and he was arrested on May 17, 2002.
