When the world of superheroes, comics and sci-fi came alive in New York. Take a look!
Originally showcasing comic books, science fiction/fantasy and film/television, and related popular arts, the convention now includes a larger range of pop culture elements, such as horror, animation, anime, manga, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novels.
Along with panels, seminars, and workshops with comic book professionals, there are previews of upcoming feature films and many promotional events. Hugely popular across the US, these conventions are attended by thousands, most of whom attend the event in colorful costumes representing their favourite superhero/character.
