A massive fire continued to rage Friday at an Indian Oil depot in Jaipur nearly 24 hours after it broke out, killing five people and injuring 150 others. Officials are waiting for the petroleum stock to burn off for the blaze to die out.

The accident at Jaipur is very serious. I wonder that the government has no system to put off the blaze of Petroleum tanks and they are waiting for the blaze to end itself as the fuel is completely burnt.
I wonder there no technology in ours country to put off such fire?
In the Iraq war,several oil-wells were on fire and those were controlled and that techniques can be adopted. This way ours petroleum stocks and depots are
vulnerable and any anti-social & anti national element can do the damage with ease.
I heard that some enquiry is to be conducted but the results are never seen nor any higher level officer is ever punished for negligence.
