Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi arrived in Srinagar on Wednesday on a two-day visit. He inaugurated the Srinagar to Anantnag train service and the Bhaglihar hydro-electricity project in Kashmir. The PM concluded his hectic daylong engagements in the Kashmir Valley, meeting various political delegations at the Centaur Hotel on the edge of the Dal Lake.
