
The industry hopes to have the first on-street charging points for electric cars in places all across Dublin by the end of this year.
A group of 50 representatives of European electricity companies and power distribution system operators has pledged to develop harmonised charging standards for plug-in electric cars until international standards are published. Electric vehicles are seen in a hotel in Brussels, Tuesday Oct. 27, as the industry promotes the use of electric vehicles.
