The first batch of 1076 Hajj pilgrims set off for the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia - the holiest place for Muslims. Some 1, 60,491 pilgrims from India will undertake the Hajj this year.

Mr. ****. Krishna seems to taken personal interest in Haj 2009. It is a fine gesture on his part. The Consul General and his staff at Jeddah, Mecca & Madina should extend the same attitude of the Hon'ble Minister towards the Haj pligrims.

Mr. Maaz ahmed sharif, did you ever heard any minister taking personal interest for Maan Sarovar pilgrims. It is all about vote bank in the Indian subcontinent. The dirty politicians have not better to do......
