2014 – BJP

Nayi soch, nayi ummeed  (New thinking, new hope)
Modi for PM
Ab ki baar, Modi sarkar
(It’s time for a Modi government)
Congress mukht  Bharat

For the 2014 elections, the BJP placed its bets on Modi-centric slogans. From ‘Modi for PM’, a straightforward approach to woo voters, to ‘Ab ki baar, Modi sarkar’, the saffron party chose to keep it simple.

They also hoped to cash in on their ‘Nayi soch, nayi ummeed’ slogan which translates to ‘New thinking, new hope’.  Even the ‘Congress mukth Bharat’ was in line with the party’s all-out attack against the Congress which was clearly visible in rallies and speeches too.
