Mid-aged couple murdered in Punjab
Jalandhar: A mid-aged couple believed to be in a live-in relationship was found murdered at their residence at Kartarpur, about 20 kms from here, a senior police official said.
Ram Lal (50) and Lalita (45) were found dead at their residence by neighbours this morning, SP Rajendra Singh said.
Ram Lal was a labour and the couple had been staying together for the past four years, he said.
The whereabouts of Lalita are yet to be traced, he said adding, the motive behind the double murder is being probed.
