Man who forced wife to group sex sent in judicial custody
Surat: A South Delhi businessman, who was arrested on charges of forcing his wife to have group sex with his business associates and relatives, was sent in judicial custody by a court here on Wednesday. Kuldeep Arora (42) was arrested a few days ago on a complaint filed by his 35-year-old wife, a resident of Wav village here. The police said the other accused in the case are absconding.
The Surat police had alerted airports across the country about Arora, who was finally nabbed at the IGI Airport in Delhi. Soon, the Surat police took him in custody and obtained his remand. Arora was sent in judicial custody to the Surat district jail after his police remand ended on Tuesday. Arora's bail application will come up at the Surat sessions court on Friday.
Police sources said the couple, who met through matrimonial ads, got married in Surat in 2004. The wife said in her complaint that while accompanying her husband on business tours abroad, she was threatened and forced to have sex with his business associates and even relatives. Some months ago, she returned to Surat and started staying with her family.
Inspector S K Wala, who is investigating the case, said the woman has alleged that she was sexually harassed by her husband, his brother-in-law Khulbushan Arora and younger brother Dharmendra. "The accused have an import-export business and own offices in Delhi and Mumbai. She has mentioned that Arora also forced her to have sex with his business associates. The complaint also states they regularly forced her to have group sex. We have collected letters she wrote to her mother about the sexual harassment she was facing after marriage," he said.
