PepsiCo to set up beverages plant in Sri City at Rs 1,200-cr investment

The plant would provide jobs to 8,000 people after three phases of development

Hyderabad: PepsiCo will set up a Rs 1,200-crore beverages plant in Sri City in Andhra Pradesh. PepsiCo India Chairman and CEO D. Shiva Kumar said here on Saturday this investment was part of the Rs 33,000-crore investment plan announced for India recently.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy said the plant would provide jobs to 8,000 people after three phases of development. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the project.
