MT Educare posts net profit of Rs 4.85 cr in Q3



Mumbai, Feb 4 (PTI) MT Educare, a leading education support and coaching services provider today reported consolidated net profit of Rs 4.85 crore and total income of Rs 39.31 crore in the December quarter.

The company had not published its third quarter results last fiscal as its share were listed on the stock exchange in March 2012.

The company''s net profit for the nine months ended December 31, 2012 stood at Rs 16.37 crore while its income in the same period was Rs 122.15 crore.
The total revenues for the previous year (s2011-12) stood at Rs 130.57 crore, a company statement said.
* * * * * * Rs 4 cr solar energy project at Daimler''s Oragadam plant * In line with promotion of green energy and to avoid dependency on "conventional" power, German truck manufacturer Daimler has set up a Rs 4 crore solar energy project at its 400 acre plant at nearby Oragadam.

The pilot solar power project, set up at an investment of Rs 4 crore, is to ensure "self-sustenance" of the spare parts warehouse located inside the plant, Daimler India Commercial Vehicle said in a statement.
* * * * * * Saksoft Q3 net up 96 pc * IT service provider Saksoft Ltd has reported 96 per cent surge in net profits for the third quarter ending December 31, 2012 at Rs 2.96 crore.

The Chennai-based company had reported net profits at Rs 1.51 crore during the corresponding period of the previous year, Saksoft Ltd said in a BSE filing.
For the nine month period ending Dec 31,2012 net profits grew by 35.9 per cent to reach Rs 7.60 crore from Rs 5.59 crore registered during the corresponding period of the previous year.
Total income for the third quarter ending Dec 31,2012 rose to Rs 38.13 crore from Rs 31.14 crore registered during the corresponding period of the previous year.
