Coirfed explores exports to Saudi Arabia
Alappuzha (Ker) Feb 3 (PTI) Coirfed is exploring the possibility of exporting its products to Saudi Arabia.
Kerala Revenue and Coir Minister Adoor Prakash and senior Coirfed officials held discussions with business representatives of Saudi Arabian firms Bin Sagar and Unilever, who were here to attend the international Coir expo 2013.
The discussions focused mainly on the possibility of marketing coir products through the retail networks of the two groups, a Coirfed press release said here today.
Fahd Al Sahrani, head of Bin Sagar''s commerce division and Unilever managers Abdul Qadir Tahir and Muhammed Tahir took part in the discussions.
