Alstom T&D India Q3 down 67 pc at Rs 9.84 cr
New Delhi, Feb 1 (PTI) Alstom T&D India today posted 67 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 9.84 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 30.16 crore in the same period last financial year (2011-12), Alstom T&D India said in a statement.
Alstom T&D India is the transmission and distribution arm of French firm Alstom.
However, the total income from operations of the company increased 4.34 per cent at Rs 712.94 crore from Rs 683.27 crore.

In FY''13, we sold over 2.14 lakh vehicles,maintaining a growth of 26 per cent. We continue to have a leadership position in the SCV market with a market share of 78 per cent in the cargo segment and 79 per cent in the passengercarrier segment".
* * * * * * TTK Healthcare Q3 net down 25% * TTK Healthcare, part of the TTK Group, has reported over 25 per cent dip in net profits for the third quarter ending December 31, 2012.
The Chennai-based company registered net profits at Rs 3.06 crore for the third quarter ending Dec 31, 2012 down by 25.5 per cent from Rs 4.11 crore registered during the corresponding period of the previous year, TTK Healthcare said in a filing to the BSE.
Total income from operations for the third quarter ending Dec 31, 2012 rose to Rs 92.23 crore from Rs 86.70 crore registered in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The company said cessation of the distribution arrangement for Kohinoor-Durex condoms and Dr Scholl range of products impacted sales of for the quarter.
Meanwhile,the company said its Executive Vice-Chairman T T Raghunathan has been appointed as Managing Director, TTK Protective Devices Ltd with immediate effect. He had also relinquished office as Managing Director, TTK Tantex Ltd, it said.
Expressing serious concern over the ongoing protests in Andhra Pradesh, following the nod for the creation of a separate Telangana State, the Communist Party of India (CPI) leader D Raja said that the Centre must address the genuine concerns of the people and assure them that their interests will be duly protected.
