Almond, pistachio up on local demand
New Delhi, Nov 21 (PTI) In restricted activity, almond and pistachio prices rose by up to Rs 100 per kg in the national capital today on increased demand from retailers.
Marketmen said increased demand from retailers mainly pushed up almond and pistachio prices.
In the national capital, almond (California) rose by Rs 100 to Rs 13,000 per 40 kg, while its kernel traded higher by Rs 4 to Rs 474-494 per kg.
Pistachio Irani, Hairati and Peshawari were also enquired higher by Rs 10 each to Rs 810-910, Rs 800-900 and Rs 1,050-1,100 per kg, respectively.
