Chandigarh, Feb 2 (PTI) Haryana government has proposed an Annual Plan of Rs 17,650 crore for financial year 2013-14, which is over 20 per cent more than the outlay in Annual Plan of current fiscal.
"We have proposed an Annual Plan to the tune of Rs 17,650 crore for 2013-14," a senior official of Haryana Finance Department said here.
The states Annual Plan for 2012-13 was proposed at Rs 14,500 crore which was 9.85 per cent higher than the approved outlay of Rs 13,200 crore of 2011-12.
The major portion of the proposed Annual Plan is dedicated to social services including education, health, medical services with earmarked funds to the tune of Rs 9,770.89 crore, which is 18 per cent more than the money allocated in 2012-13 annual plan.
The outlay for social services constitutes 55 per cent of total planned outlay, official sources said.
Funds for power sector have been proposed at Rs 1,939.41 crore for the annual plan as compared to funds of Rs 1,352 crore allocated in current Annual Plan, official sources said.
For agriculture and allied activities, Haryana government has proposed an outlay of Rs 1,340.50 crore compared to Rs 1,097.57 crore proposed for current fiscal.
