New Delhi, Jan 8 (PTI) Freight rates for 10-tonne load for select destinations rose by Rs.1000 in the local truck transport market today following busy cargo movements amid tight position of trucks.

Transporters said fresh arrivals of cargo and less position of trucks mainly pushed up some of centres freight rates.

Delhi to Hyderabad and Pune rates moved up by Rs.1000 each to Rs.46,000 and Rs.31,000.

Rates to Vijaywada and Mumbai also went up by Rs.1000 each to Rs.48,000 and Rs.28,000.
